1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NexLink mobile application ("App"), developed by ANSER CODING INC. ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using NexLink, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

NexLink is provided free of charge. No subscription or in-app purchase is required.

2. Description of Service

NexLink is a mobile application designed for use with Anser inkjet printers in industrial environments. The App provides:

3. Google Drive Authorization

3.1 Authorization

To use the file synchronization feature, you must sign in with a Google Account and authorize NexLink to access your Google Drive. This authorization is handled through Google's secure OAuth 2.0 protocol.

3.2 Scopes Requested (Non-Sensitive Only)

NexLink requests only the following non-sensitive Google API scopes, and does not request any Restricted or full-access Drive scope: drive.file (read/write access limited to files and folders the App itself creates or that you explicitly open, used for both uploads to and downloads from the sync folder ANSER_NexLink), drive.appdata (private App data folder hidden from the user's Drive UI), and userinfo.email (account identification).

Synchronization with Google Drive is confined to a dedicated folder named ANSER_NexLink that the App creates in your Drive. Because Google enforces drive.file to expose only files the App created or that you explicitly picked, NexLink cannot see, modify, or delete any other files in your Drive.

To import files that were prepared elsewhere (for example, message templates uploaded to Drive by a factory administrator via a web browser or desktop computer), NexLink uses Android's Storage Access Framework — the operating system's built-in file picker. You explicitly select each file (including files stored in Google Drive), and the Android operating system grants the App access to only those selected files. This is handled entirely by Android and does not use any Google Drive API scope. An earlier version of NexLink requested the Restricted drive.readonly scope; it has been removed, and the App now relies solely on the non-sensitive scopes listed above.

3.3 Revoking Authorization

You may revoke NexLink's access to your Google Drive at any time by:

  1. Signing out within the App, or
  2. Visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing NexLink.

After revocation, NexLink will no longer access your Google Drive until you re-authorize.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use NexLink only for lawful purposes. You must not:

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its source code, user interface, graphics, and documentation, is the intellectual property of ANSER CODING INC. and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Print message files and other content created by you remain your property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANSER CODING INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

As the App is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed zero (0) dollars.

8. Privacy

Your use of NexLink is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at our privacy policy. By using the App, you consent to the practices described therein.

9. Termination and Changes

You may stop using NexLink at any time by uninstalling the App and revoking Google Drive access. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Contact
